Let’s take a few blogging uploads to discuss riding a public bus in Japan….
In particular the ride from Miura Kaigan train station to Miura reien.
I took a bus in several different regions and prefectures and both in cities and out in the country side and for the most part they operated on a similar ticket/fee system. Not everywhere though!
Sometimes you board in front by the driver (often in Tokyo city for ex)
When you board the bus in the back doors you have a little dispenser on the side (by the hand rail) . Seen in this photo right in the CENTER.
Take a paper ticket from the dispenser.
It has a number printed on it.
The number indicates the ‘zone’ you are in,
like where on the route you entered the bus.
