ElupiA‘s genre is ‘Symphonic Rock’ or how would you define your style?
Can you tell a little about it?
ElupiAはシンフォニックロックというジャンルという認識でよろしいでしょうか？簡単にご説明いただけますか？
Our musical style in main songs is expressed as equivalent to symphonic metal, theatrical metal, and modern Gothic metal, but is also expressed as progressive metal and post-modernism, so the definition of our genre is often discussed among our listeners. We aim to arrange each song regardless of its style, so I guess we don’t fit into any genre.
ほぼメインになる曲風はシンフォニックメタル、シアトリカルメタル や モダン・ゴシックメタルに近いと表現されますが、プログレッシヴメタルやポストモダニズムとも表現される事も多く、私たちのジャンルの定義は頻繁にリスナー達の間で議題になります。 作曲者の意向としましては、それぞれの楽曲に似合ったアレンジをその都度、既存の作風に捕らわれずに目指していますので、やはりどれかのジャンルに完全に当てはまる事は無いと思います。

Definition of genre is difficult, but I think it was inevitable that our music became like symphonic metal, considering that members love soprano vocals, heavy sound and classical sound.
ジャンルの定義は難しいですが、今現在の所、やはりソプラノヴォーカルとヘビーなサウンド、クラシカルなサウンドを好むメンバーが集まればシンフォニックメタルに接近するのは必然だった思います。
Who writes the music? the lyrics?

It’s Yuvica, who plays the organ. Almost all lyrics are written by Yuvica as well.
オルガン担当のYuvicaです。歌詞も一部を除いてYuvicaです。

Music that has inspired us is from a variety of genres, but classical music and film music has a high impact on our music.
